Create interactively your SAP data extraction routine, call on demand or by scheduled job. All you have to do is to select the SAP system, the SAP source Table or Query / QuickView and your destination table with an ODBC driver. Optionally you can define the field mapping and SQL instructions.
T3CP is like a simple ETL tool. With a few mouse clicks you can create interactively an automatic data transfer from your SAP system to any database with an ODBC driver. No programming, no customizing is required in your SAP system. SAP systems with ABAP kernel are supported liike eg. ERP / ECC, Retaiil systems including new S4HANA systems.
Within an SAP Query (transaction SQVI or SQ01) you can define either a simple data query on one table or table join. A "join" is query with multiple related tables. T3CP is calling these queries remotely (using SAP RFC protocol) and read the data into the defined target table.
In T3CP you can also set additional filter criteria, or select which table field contents are transmitted and finally stored into your database target table.
Thus extracting SAP data withT3CP is straightforward.
Examples:
- Stock data
- Order lists
- Supply data
- Accounts Overviews
- Booking Data
- Material Master Data
- Customer Master Data
- any Z table
-. . .
Data extraction jobs can be defined in the Task Scheduler - or call T3CP with parameter e.g. from a Script.
T3CP is affordable and easy to install. No middleware system such as SAP-PI is required. Once the SAP GUI is installed and a SAP user exists with the proper authorization, you can start. Download the software here and check the same in test mode.
Benefits
+ Simple configuration, no specific SAP expertise necessary
+ No SAP customizing or coding needed
+ Affordable Price (€ 250,-)
+ New queries are implemented quickly, either as a direct query or table.
+ T3CP extraction jobs can be executed centrally for multiple databases / tables:
- Run the data extraction limited to specified time periods
- The number of required SAP users can be reduced
+ Use your hardware (Windows system) and data base(s):
- The configuration tables themselves can be stored on a SQL database such as MS SQL.
First steps
After having downloaded and installed T3CP you can start the application and log on to the SAP system.
If you use the T3CP starter you can directly execute the application:
confirm 1st message:
Confirm the disclaimer and then change the Language to EN and click on "Test":
Login into the SAP system (the list of systems is read from your SAP GUI)
Then read a table structure, eg. for table T000
Create the Destination Table and then "Run" the data transfer.
SQL options for Queries and Tables
You can create a shortcut on the desktop to a "T3CP link" and call T3CP with parameters.
T3CP is called and performs the data transmission, including login automatically - optionally "silently" in background. Just click on the icon and the destination table is updated.
Alternatively you can schedule the transmission in the task scheduler (which is operated by Windows operating system).
• Data extraction via RFC call:
Tables
or SAP Queries (* version 2.1)
• Scheduler for scheduling of query jobs
• Scheduled transfer in the background
• Filter criteria for tables and query requests
• Usage of SAP “variants“ for queries / QuickView
• SQL options:
Freely definable SQL command before extraction
Freely definable SQL command after extraction
• Log of activities
• Interactive definition of different target ODBC DSN
• Mapping of the fields (source and target-field mapping)
• Different database systems can be defined as a destination such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle databases, PostgreSQL or Microsoft Access databases.
• T3CP system tables can be stored on e.g. MS SQL
Preconditions:
- Access to a SAP system.
- The SAP GUI must be installed on the Windows computer*.
- Valid SAP user account with appropriate permissions for SAP tables or queries / QuickView to be read
- Windows OS (XP, Win7, Win8, Win10 or Server versions)
- ODBC driver for the target database (s)
* SAP RFC related DLLs are required
Download of Version 2.2
T3CP can be used directly after installation in a test mode. Limitation of the test account: In automatic mode (with parameter-L) a pop up message has to be confirmed manually.
